Treat dad to something sweet this Father’s Day

Dad’s aren’t always the easiest to buy for, particularly around special occasions like birthdays, Christmas or even Father’s Day. This annual celebration of dads, grandads, step-dads, uncles and any other male heroes in our lives will soon be upon us, so if you haven’t started thinking about it already, now is the time to get planning on gifts for Father’s Day. Sooner rather than later you’ll be inundated with presents and gifts for dads, so we’d recommend getting your skates on and thinking up a plan of action asap!

Father's Day Hamper

After the crazy year we’ve had due to the Coronavirus pandemic, many dads out there will be missing the children and other family members. As a result, it's important that we show him how much we appreciate him, now more than ever.

Do away with the novelty mugs, slogan socks and bottles of beer, and give dad something a little different this year. After all, what's the likelihood that he’ll actually enjoy these gifts or get any use out of them? Pretty slim we’d think!

So this year, why not make dad’s day with a super sweet treat, sweet hamper or chocolate bouquet as a Father’s Day gift. Everyone has a sweet tooth. Whether they love the tangy sour taste of fizzy sweets, the delectable fruity burst of gummies or even the smooth texture of a good old fashioned chocolate bar, dads up and down the country are partial to something delicious.

Whether you fancy getting creative and making your own DIY Father’s Day hamper, or would rather something ready made, in this blog post from the Sweet Hamper Company we hope to give you some food for thought if you're still searching for the ideal present for dad.

  • Retro sweet hampers
  • Take dad or grandad back to the good old days with one of our retro sweet hampers. Fit to burst with all sorts of vintage favourites from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, our retro sweet hampers are sure to put a smile on his face. Delight dad with delectable treats such as sherbet lemons, sherbet fountains, Dip Dabs, Rhubarb & Custards, Wham Bars, and other tasty goodies. Our retro sweet hampers have been created to include favourites from past decades.

  • DIY hampers
  • If you feel like getting a bit crafty, why not create dad his very own bespoke DIY hamper. All you need is a wicker hamper (or a similar box or basket), and fill it up with goodies and treats. Pick out some of dad’s favourite things - for example, if he likes gardening, include some seeds for the garden, or if he is a golf fan include some new golf balls. You can make your DIY hamper as large as you like, and don’t forget to decorate it to make it look super special when you give it to him on Father’s Day!

  • Chocolate gifts
  • If dad isn’t a candy fan, perhaps chocolate is more up his street? Our colourful chocolate bouquets certainly make a statement and are chock full of some of the UK’s top chocolate bars, including Dairy Milk, Snickers and Toffee Crisps. Yum yum!

  • Personalised gifts
  • At the Sweet Hamper Company, all our gifts can be personalised with a bespoke message of your choice. Therefore if you’re unable to see dad in person this year, you can still show how much he means to you with one of our beautifully designed cards included in the package. Maybe your Dad is a fan of American goodies? Then try out one of our dedicated American Sweet Hampers!
